Meet Mia

{in a tiny tub, with big dreams}

Back in ancient times throughout the Roman period, storing treasure in jars of clay was a common practice as a way for safe-keeping during times of instability.

Mia has always considered her life as a jar of clay- being a common vessel for a glory beyond herself. It’s been a thread throughout her life, and even as a nursing student before switching to graphic design, she had the words “jar of clay” tattooed on her arm.

Later on, she got into pottery where she made physical jars of clay, a medium that brought her to Cincinnati when she worked for a pottery studio. She fell in love with the city and the people, and has gained a wide array of experience working ever since with different companies and brands in social media, storytelling, photography, and design.

VESSL was born from a calling—to be a vessel and carry what matters with care, intention, and meaning. This isn’t just a design studio. It’s a space to hold vision, purpose, and transformation.

Mia believes in the strength and dignity within every person—and counts it a deep honor to reflect that in her work. Being a vessel for someone else’s vision is sacred. It takes courage to hand over something treasured, and trust to invite another to preserve it and carry it forward. That trust is never taken lightly.

Mia is an adventurer at heart, a hype woman, and self-starter. She brings passion and purpose to everything she does. Recently, she took a trip across the country to move from Cincinnati to San Luis Obispo, California. She comes alive as she continues to grow.
